Learning Magic, Inc

Meet The Wizards

The Learning Magic Master Wizard, Byron

Byron Wilkes was raised in the Northwest. He has been involved in coaching and teaching children from all walks of life for over thirty years. For three and a half years (2001 - 2004) he was active in the the development of the IntelliTools Classroom Suite products from a field perspective.

Today he has shifted his emphasis towards using that underlying technology and other proven multimedia products to build a wide range of activities and templates to enhance the learning experience for children and teachers.

Byron has been accused of having his camera as a permanent appendage added to his body. He constantly is taking pictures of a wide range of subjects and brings those to our work.

As an avid outdoorsman, animal lover and traveler, he brings a wide range of photographs plus ecosystem expertise and knowledge to Learning Magic Inc.

Our Associate Wizards, Adam, Agnes and Scott

Adam Clark, Researcher

Adam Clark

Adam's passion is U.S. history. Adam earned a history degree from Seattle University and hopes of becoming a teacher himself. Through the Children's Literacy Project at Seattle University, Adam gained an opportunity to volunteer and use his tutoring talents in the middle schools in downtown Seattle.

His hobbies include reading anything he can get his hands on, collecting U.S. currency; and participating in all forms of athletics and exercise.

Then there is his tinkering with his restored 1966 Mustang, which is a story in itself, according to his new bride.

Adam puts his academic talents to work for Learning Magic by scouring the web for information on the topics we are currently developing.

Agnes J. Ward, Nature & Wildlife Photographer

Her extensive artistic resume ranges through pen & ink sketching, water & oil paints, 30 years of theater scenic and costume design. She also has a deep interest in pre-Columbian and Northwest Native arts. Her natural ability is to bring an artistic quality to her settings for wildlife and nature photography. Her work covers parts of four continents: Europe, Africa, Asia and North & Central America.
We rely on Agnes as a source of fine photographs. If we need a beautiful photograph of a distant location, chances are good that Agnes has it in her portfolio. In a very typical setting, here is Agnes riding up to tour the ancient site of Santorini in Greece.

Scott Page

Scott Page is a fine artist living in Seattle. He is currently working towards a graduate degree in psychology, so that he can make some sense of his own art. He received his fine art degree from the University of Oregon. His hobbies include photography and comparative mythological studies, as well as making people suffer through a guitar solo or two.
Scott created the three wizards who guide you through our Tips section. He is busily producing animated figures you will be seeing in projects coming soon!
