![]() | In the IntelliTools Classroom Suite® New/Templates section, there is a very useful template in the Science folder called Diagram Template. This IntelliTalk 3® template makes it very quick and easy to set up activities that have the parts of a diagram labeled with letters, and corresponding answer fields to be filled in from a toolbar. In authoring mode, there is a toolbar with sets of diagrams and label buttons ready to use. There is also the option to add your own picture or diagram to one of the buttons on this toolbar. Then by clicking the custom button, your own diagram picture is inserted into the activity. |
In using this custom option, it is possible to run into a slight problem. If the picture is full-page size, then the answer fields seem to vanish. Actually, they have dropped down to the next page. There is no way to resize a picture within IntelliTalk 3®. However, the beauty of Classroom Suite is that you can easily move between its three applications, and the is a way to resize a picture in intelliPics Studio 3®. | ![]() |
![]() | Learning Magic has created a "helper" document in IntelliPics Studio 3® to resize the picture and also make it simple to add the letter labels to a photo or diagram. You can load a picture into the Diagram Graphic Maker and adjust the size. A toolbar makes it easy to add the letter labels and you can use the line tool to point to the parts to be identified. Once the diagram graphic is finished, you can copy and paste it into the custom button in the IntelliTalk 3® Diagram Template. From that point, simply follow the Diagram Template instructions as usual to complete a new diagram activity, with your own graphic as the diagram. |
