There is some history associated with the puzzles on this CD. Originally Ann worked with IntelliTools to design and develop the Puzzle template that is shipped within the Productivity folder of IntelliTools Classroom Suite® Actvities.  We have received many compliments on that template and it remains a very useful template for early Cause and Effect users. However, we also received feedback that the puzzle was too complex for some users, in that it requires ten mouse clicks, switch clicks, or IntelliKeys® contacts to remove nine puzzle pieces plus one more to get the "reward".

We had numerous teachers and therapists ask us if we could design a simpler puzzle template, one that needed only four mouse clicks to complete the puzzle for example.  You asked and we listened! The result is that we have created three new puzzle templates that require only the requested four clicks to receive the reward.

You may ask, why three templates?  Well, we also received requests that the puzzle not always reveal itself in the same pattern.  With three pieces in the new templates, we can now have three different templates that reveal themselves in three different sequences.

Along with creating the three new puzzle templates we have modified the original nine piece puzzle template slightly as well, and created three new nine piece templates so that these also do not always reveal the pieces in the same order.  Then we have developed over 60 finished puzzles using IntelliMation, lots of photos, and appropriate sound files, as well as movies to provide a wide range of "rewards" for your users.

These puzzles are switch-accessible, and an IntelliKeys® overlay is provided. Finished puzzles will run with the IntelliTools Classroom Suite Player 3® (included), but creating new puzzles with the templates or modifying the pre-built puzzles requires the full version of IntelliPics Studio 3®
