3-2-1 For Intellitools Classroom Suite

The 3-2-1 for IntelliTools Classroom Suite CD contains over seventy finished activities and two easy to use templates. Using the templates educators and other interested parties can easily create their own activities.

The activities are designed to provide both instructional materials as well as assessment opportunities for students and educators. The activities present a series of questions to students with first three (3) choices (i.e. possible answers). Two of the answers are incorrect and one is correct. If a student chooses “correctly” the activity goes to the next question.

If the student chooses an “incorrect” answer the activity moves to the next page where the student is then provided with the same question and only two choices. The incorrect choice originally chosen has been removed. If the student chooses “correctly” at the “2” choice level, the activity moves to the next question. If the student chooses a second “incorrect” answer the activity moves to a final page for that problem and the student is presented with the same question again but with only one “1” choice being available. Once that correct choice is chosen the activity moves to the next problem and the process is repeated throughout that activity’s content.

In this fashion the student moves from a 3 to 2 to 1 (i.e. 3-2-1) answer environment within each activity’s question and answer.

Each of the over seventy activities are aligned to national and state standards for learning in the areas of Science, Geography, History, Early Skills, Life Skills, Mathematics, Language Arts and Miscellaneous subjects.

Answer/data collection of every student response is automatically captured and reporting is available through the IntelliTools Classroom Suite student portfolio system.

The 3-2-1 format and design is patterned after the Florida State Department of Education’s Alternate Assessment program and similar formats used by other institutions around the country.

Writing - Early Skills For Clicker 5

The Writing – Early Skills For Clicker 5 CD contains over 30 finished curriculum units (300+ gridsets) in the areas of language arts, life skills, social studies, science and other miscellaneous areas.

In each unit an initial content lead-in book provides students with introductory information about the subject matter which they will then write about.

After reading or listening to the book being read, students and teachers have eight writing activities or formats to have students use to write about the information they have just learned about. The writing activity formats range from errorless writing (click on a picture and a sentence is automatically written into a textbox ) up to and through a format where students insert a picture and a targeted sentence onto a page and then have to unscramble the words on a toolbar to rewrite the targeted sentence into a toolbox.

Note: The writing activities follow a continuum of small steps in moving students from errorless writing up to the point where they are unscrambling words and recording extra thoughts regarding the information they have been studying.

Additionally the CD contains ten easy-to-use templates which will allow teachers and therapists with an opportunity to create their own study units if they so choose.

The Writing Bin - Early Skills

The Writing Bin – Early Skills two CD collection includes hundred seventy finished activities which are organized into various curriculum area folders. The activities within each folder provide a continuum of writing opportunities for early writers.

The activities are built upon seven flexible and easy-to-use templates that range from errorless writing up to and through a process where students first click on a picture to insert it on a page. Then they are provided with both a model sentence about the picture and a wordbank at the bottom of the screen which contains the words that make up the model sentence. The student then has the opportunity to write their own sentence by typing in a word, or using the wordbank’s contents or other devices of their choosing.

FAQ Section Make-over

With our three separate sets of Learning Magic software, running in IntelliTools Classroom Suite, SoftTouch's two applications (My Own Bookshelf and Test Me Score Me, and Clicker 5), it made sense to remodel our FAQ section just as we have our Goodies and Products pages. The newly revised FAQ section is a gateway to help on all three product lines.

When the page opens, you will now see three buttons that are doors to the three product-related FAQ sections. Below that are FAQs of general interest. You will enjoy added ease of navigation, and hopefully find the answer to your question faster than ever.

In each of the product-related FAQ sections there are also links to the help sections of the websites for each of the applications our products are built upon. We hope this will get you assistance with problems relating to these applications and not specifically to the Learning Magic product using it as a platform.

Of course, if you do not see the answer to your question and cannot find it on one of the three linked websites, please write to us! Click here to contact .
