 New Goodies Come In Three Flavors! | ||
| This month we are adding six Clicker 5 based goodies and two SoftTouch My Own Bookshelf Goodies. | ||
| Clicker 5 based Goodies | ||
| Clicker 5 based Goodies are developed in Clicker 5 and you must own a copy of the product to run the Goodies. We have added three new Clicker 5 based Goodies this month. They are "Bats", "Spiders" and "Dakota's Forest Adventure". The first two gridsets provide a series of science activities in the areas of Bats and Spiders. The gridsets include reading, writing, labeling and other activities. The third gridset is a bonus study unit that is modeled after the seventeen study units on our recently released "Dakota's Adventures CD". This gridset includes a wide variety of activities including reading, spelling, word identification, writing activities at six different levels, comprehension and much more. | ||
| IntelliTools-Based Goodies | ||
IntelliTools-based Goodies run in IntelliTools Classroom Suite. We have added five new IntelliTools Classroom Suite based Goodies this month. They are: "The Battle of Bloody Marsh", "Bloody Marsh", "Emotions II - Three Button Choice", "Bats" and "Bats - Comprehension". The first two activities are companion activities. Both activities are built using templates from the "Writing Bin" CD which provides a scaffolded environment where students first read about the Pre-Revolutionary War battle of Bloody Marsh in 1742 and then write about their understanding. Secondly, they look at the same area today and the salty marsh land and inhabitants of this area today. Again students are able to look at photographs and watch videos of the area and then write about their understanding of the environment nearly 268 years after the famous Battle that was waged there. The third activity is an activity built upon the template from the Learning Magic - non commercial CD entitled "Three Button Choice". If you are interested in acquiring this CD for a donation please email us at info@learningmagicinc.com and we will send you a document which outlines how you can obtain a copy of the CD. Note: This activity is entitled Emotions II due to the fact that there is an original "Emotions - Three Button Choice" activity on the CD. The final two activities are companion activities as well. The first activity, "Bats" is also developed on one of the "Writing Bin" CD templates and it provides children with an opportunity to first read and learn about Bats around the world. Then with scaffolded vocabulary support they are able to write about their understanding of the subject matter. The second activity "Bat - Comprehension" provides a multiple choice question and answer environment where kids can demonstrate their understanding of the information provided in the original "Bats" activity. Please note: this activity is based upon one of the templates from the Learning Magic, Inc. "Comprehension CD". | ||

A Word From The Wizards... |
This website has been designed to share our love of learning and our desire to bring the magic of learning to a wide number of children, teachers, therapists and parents. Our experience includes many years of working with children of varying cognitive abilities (delayed to the brightest) plus exploring the exciting possibilities of the multi-media world. Now we are striving to open up and extend that world to a large number of children who may never otherwise get the opportunity to experience the world in a similar manner. As co-authors and developers, we sincerely hope that the activities and templates available from this site will enhance the learning experience of both you and the children you serve. Our most basic goal is to build templates and activities that allow children to become independent learners and increase their awareness of this world. Whether they choose in the future to pick one or two topics and learn as much about them as they can (in depth learning) or opt to learn about as many things as possible at a basic level (wide breadth learning), we hope that we can play a small part in laying that foundation. |
