TheOrangutans test is an example test from the What Do You Know About "The Nature Series" and "The Animal Kingdom" CD. The CD includes 36 tests that are in direct correlation with the 18 self-selected reading books on each of the two aforementioned CDs. This particular test goes with the Orangutans book from The Animal kingdom CD, which is also available for download from the SoftTouch Goodies page. Students should read Orangutans and then take this test. |

The test includes six pages of multiple choice questions that relate to the reading material in the Life In the Northlands book developed by Learning Magic, Inc. in SoftTouch's My Own Bookshelf®. The six pages of questions query the child on the orangutan's characteristics, its habitat and adaptations to the rainforest, as well as what threatens its long-term survival. High quality photos similar to those in the Orangutans book illustrate each question. |

The questions relate directly back to the reading material in the Orangutans book and provide a solid basis for assessing the child's comprehension of the reading material. Please note: You need a copy of Test Me Score Me v.2.1 to run this test. You will import the test into Test Me Score Me 2.1 in the Publish section.
