"Orangutans" is a book written in SoftTouch's My Own Bookshelf® that brings the rainforest world of the organutan to life. In the book children will not only see close up pictures of both male and female orangutans but they will also observe movies of the organutans climbing, eating and interacting in a nature habitat. Children will learn that orangutans are large apes and well as mammals. They will also read about the orangutans' home in the tropical rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra. They will also have the opportunity to read about the orangutans' behaviors and traits as they live in this isolated environment. |
