Amusement Park

Here is a chance for students to explore an old-fashioned amusement park. The opening page looks like one of the colorful maps you typically are given when you purchase your ticket.

Clicking on any of the five rides pictured on the map will take you there. Children can choose from a miniature train, a giant swing called Pharaoh's Fury, a wild boat ride, a charming ferris wheel with carriages shaped like hot air balloons, and a wonderful carousel with all sorts of animals.

The narrative provides comments about the rides and how they move, while movies of each ride make the experience feel like the real thing. A custom overlay gives IntelliKeys® users the chance to interact directly with the map. This is also a good activity for switch users.

Caution: Because of the 12 attached movies, this is a very large download, and will take a long time with a dial-up connection.
