Nikki's Adventure

Nikki's Adventure is an open ended writing exercise where children are given a book which includes a photograph and textbox on each page. The photos depict the experiences of two dogs, Nikki being the star.

As the story opens, they are being transported to the forest. From the car they travel through the forest, which is filled with wild huckleberry bushes, and down to a river. At the river they encounter an angry moose.

Sound effects on several pages enhance the encounter with the river and the moose.

The story provides an environment for multiple interpretations of the story to occur. In our work with children we have received several wonderful and yet varied stories from the book.

The activity will run on the IntelliTools Classroom Suite Player. But IntelliPics Studio 3® is needed to perform any editing or changes. Required Software: IntelliTools Classroom Suite Player® or IntelliPics Studio 3®.
