Parts of a Motorcycle

"Parts of a Motorcyle" is an activity developed in the "Parts of a..." template created by Learning Magic. In this activity the child will be able to move a magnifying glass around the various parts of a motorcyle as highlighted by colorful circles. Once the child places the magnifying glass inside a circle it will take them to a page where they will see a magnifed image of the motorcycle's part. On the page, they will find a textbox with the name of the motorcycle part displayed. They have an opportunity then to highlight and erase that text and write about that part of the motorcycle.

Upon completing the writing portion of that page, the child can click on a "book" icon on the page and that will take them back to the home page. They then can move the magnifying glass to another part of the motorcycle and repeat the process.

Once they have completed writing about each part of the motorcycle they can write their own name in the textbox on the front page and then they can save their work (i.e. hand it in). An on-screen keyboard is provided as additional scaffolding support if needed.

We have seen kids eagerly explore other resources to research the various parts of the motorcycle and then come back and write very accurate descriptions of each part and its usage.

The activity will run on the IntelliTools Classroom Suite Player. But IntelliPics Studio 3® is needed to perform any editing or changes. Required Software: IntelliTools Classroom Suite Player® or IntelliPics Studio 3®.
