Parts of a Butterfly

"Parts of a Butterfly" is an activity built in the "Parts of a...." template created by Learning Magic. In this activity the child will be able to move a magnifying glass around the various parts of a butterfly as highlighted by colorful circles and squares. Once the child places the magnifying glass inside a circle or square it will take them to a page where they will see a magnified image of the butterfly's body part.

Here they will read about that part in a text box that is provided. The text can be read aloud by clicking on the textbox, too.

When finished with the reading, the child can click a "book" icon on the page and that will take them back to the home page.

The body parts include wings, scales, antennae, head, thorax and abdomen. This is a great explore activity for kids.
