The Chicken House is a two part activity. The first portion of the activity was developed in IntelliPics Studio 3® and provides pictures of the chicken house and its wide variety of residents. The residents not only include a mixture of chicken breeds but also has a turkey or two thrown in. |

After exploring the chicken house and its denizens, the activity is linked to an "addition" activity which provides a series of questions related to the number of poultry that are involved in various endeavors around the chicken house. The second portion of the activity is built in IntelliMathics 3® using the Addition template. If you own IntelliMathics 3®, the answers provided by the child will automatically be recorded, and graded/reported via the portfolio management and grading capabilities of IntelliMathics 3®. Required Software: IntelliTools Classroom Suite Player® or IntelliPics Studio 3® and IntelliMathics 3®. |
