Spiders

The Spiders gridset is organized so that students first have an opportunity to read about and look at pictures of different spiders from around the world. They also have the opportunity to read about spider characteristics, habits and their life cycle.

Students then have the opportunity to express their knowledge through multiple expressive gridsets. Students can write about spiders, they can label a spider’s primary body parts, they can diagram a spiders life cycle and then they have an opportunity to count the number of spiders presented in various patterns within cells that are presented on the page.
