Dakota’s Adventures For Clicker 5 CD. The various units document Dakota’s (i.e. a thirteen year old dog) adventures as she first explores a Pacific Ocean beach over a six week period. The units then further document Dakota’s adventures as she travels from Seattle to Miami on a road trip that will eventually land her on the island of St. Kitts in the West Indies. Along the way, Dakota stops at such sites as Glacier National Park, the battle site of The Little Big Horn, the Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, and Stone Mountain before flying to St. Kitts. Once on the island of St. Kitts three additional units document Dakota’s new life in this third world environment. Along the way each stop and environment is documented by close up photography and video which form the basis for the initial reading books and then the follow-on literacy development activities. In this unit you have the opportunity to witness the encounter between Dakota and a very much alive six inch crab on a Pacific Ocean beach. We hope you enjoy this unit enough that you will want to join Dakota on her other sixteen adventures which are available on the aforementioned CD.
