Dakota and the Crab

This book designed in My Own Bookshelf documents the encounter between a thirteen year old dog “Dakota” and a very much alive crab along the Pacific Coast. The photographs and short videos within the book help illustrate what the interactions might be between species.

The actual interaction was peaceful although there was a little discomfort on both sides as they examined each other. As you can see by the cover Dakota and the crab had a nose to nose conversation so to speak.

This book is one of eighteen books in the Learning Magic, Inc.’s Dakota’s Discoveries CD which document Dakota’s encounters, exploration and travels along a Pacific Coast beach during a six week vacation, as well as across the country on a thirty three hundred mile road trip and then onward to the island of St. Kitts in the West Indies. Each book in the series chronicles Dakota’s experiences through these different environments.
