The Snowy Zoo Adventure

This activity builds upon the popular Adventures template from our Adventures in Reading CD and provides students with an opportunity to take a trip through the zoo after a major snow storm. Students have the opportunity to read and look at photographs of different animals that are either accustomed to the cold snowy weather or not. The trip includes visits to the tiger, snow leopard and snow monkey areas, as well as visits to the lions, hippos and African dog (Savanna area). In fifteen pages, students have the opportunity to explore eight different paths through the zoo.
