 enlarge image | In this gridset students have the opportunity to first read a story problem about going shopping for different items. After reading the story problem the student can select the correct answer from one of the cells positioned at the bottom of the page. Both the incorrect and correct answers have appropriate sound effects to indicate to the student whether they have answered correctly or not. Once the correct answer has been chosen, the gridset proceeds to a second page where the student has the opportunity to write out the correct equation for the story problem (i.e. $7.50 + $2.50 = $10.00) using cells within a Clicker Writer gridset. |

Within this gridset there are a number of story problems that have students add together two values to reach a sum. There are also story problems that ask students to add together three values and then write the appropriate mathematical equation. Different items inclusive of clothing and food items are used on different grids within the gridset.
