Subtracting 0-9 Animated

In this mathematics activity students are presented with subtraction problems. After listening to the problem read aloud, they are asked to click on a toolbar to insert the correct answer. If they are not sure they can click on a help button and an animation will play that shows the problem visually. Once the animation is completed, the visuals will disappear and they child will have the opportunity to insert the answer then.

The activity is also designed to provide immediate feedback for the student. As soon as an answer is inserted into the box, a red “X” will be displayed beside any incorrect answer or a gold “*” will be displayed beside any correct answer. The student can change any incorrect answer by inserting a number answer if they so choose.

This activity was built in Classroom Suite v. 3.2. The activity can be run on the ITAN Player. But IntelliPics Studio 3® is needed to perform data capture, automatic grading and portfolio management, as well as any editing or changes to the activity itself.
