At The Veterinary Office

The “At The Veterinary Office” provides the reader with the opportunity to take a virtual field trip into a veterinary office where they first learn about the waiting room and the different things that are available there.

The reader then gets the opportunity to visit the examining room where animals are examined in various ways as a part of their routine check-ups. The reader sees through close-up photographs how the veterinarian checks a cockatiel’ heart, wings, beak and claws. A dog’s examination includes a check of the body, an x-ray of the heart and lungs, an ear and mouth examination and finally a check of the paws. Then Gus, our cat gets the final check which includes a thorough examination of his ears, mouth, heart and claws.
