| The reader then gets the opportunity to visit the examining room where animals are examined in various ways as a part of their routine check-ups. The reader sees through close-up photographs how the veterinarian checks a cockatiel’ heart, wings, beak and claws. A dog’s examination includes a check of the body, an x-ray of the heart and lungs, an ear and mouth examination and finally a check of the paws. Then Gus, our cat gets the final check which includes a thorough examination of his ears, mouth, heart and claws. |
